3) Cookies

In order to make your visit to our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on different pages. These are small text files that are stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e. after closing your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your terminal and enable us or our partner companies (third-party cookies) to recognise your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). If cookies are set, they collect and process specific user information such as browser and location data as well as IP address values to an individual extent. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie.

If personal data is also processed by individual cookies implemented by us, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the page visit.

We may work with advertising partners who help us to make our website more interesting for you. For this purpose, cookies from partner companies are also stored on your hard disk (third-party cookies) when you visit our website. If we co-operate with the aforementioned advertising partners, you will be informed individually and separately about the use of such cookies and the extent of the information collected in each case within the following paragraphs.

Please note that you can set your browser in such a way that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually about their acceptance or exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or on a general basis. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your enquiry; this is the case if it can be concluded from the circumstances that the facts in question have been conclusively clarified and provided that there are no legal storage obligations.

5) Web analysis services

Matomo (formerly Piwik)

Data is collected and stored on this website using the web analysis service software Matomo (www.matomo.org), a service of InnoCraft Ltd., 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand, ("Matomo") on the basis of our legitimate interest in statistical analysis of user behaviour for optimisation and marketing purposes pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. For the same purpose, pseudonymised user profiles can be created and evaluated from these data. Cookies may be used for that. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of the visitor's Internet browser. The cookies enable, among other things, the recognition of the Internet browser. The data collected with Matomo technology (including your pseudonymised IP address) is processed on our servers.

The information generated by the cookie in the pseudonymous user profile is not used to personally identify the visitor to this website and is not combined with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym.

If you do not agree with saving and analysis of this data from your visit, then you can object to the saving and use at any time per mouse click, below. In this case a so-called opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser, with the consequence that Matomo will not collect any session data whatsoever. Please note that the complete deletion of your cookies means that the opt-out cookie will also be deleted and may have to be activated again by you.

6) Tools and miscellaneous

6.1 Google Maps

We use Google Maps (API) from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google") on our website. Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (country) maps in order to display geographical information visually. Using this service will show you our location and make it easier for you to find us.

When you access the sub-pages that contain the Google Maps map, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. This will happen regardless of whether you are logged in to a Google Account or if no account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your information will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish to be associated with your profile on Google, you have to log out before activating the button. Google saves your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. Such an evaluation takes place in particular according to art. 6 para. 1 lit.f GDPR on the basis of the legitimate interests of Google in the insertion of personalised advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you have to contact Google to exercise this right.

Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified for the us-European data protection agreement "Privacy Shield", which guarantees compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU.

If you do not agree to the future transmission of your data to Google in the context of the use of Google Maps, it is also possible to completely deactivate the Google Maps web service by switching off the JavaScript application in your browser. Google Maps and therefore also the map display on this website cannot be used in that case.

You can view Google's Terms of Use at www.google.de/intl/de/policies/terms/regional.html and the additional Terms of Use for Google Maps at www.google.com/intl/de_US/help/terms_maps.html

Detailed information on data protection in connection with the use of Google Maps can be found on Google's website ("Google Privacy Policy"): www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

6.2 Google Web Fonts

This site uses web fonts provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google") to uniformly display fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required Web fonts into its browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.

To do this, the browser you are using has to connect to Google's servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the sense of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font is used by your computer.

Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified for the us-European data protection agreement "Privacy Shield", which guarantees compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU.

  • Right to restrict processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR: You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data as long as the accuracy of your data contested is checked, if you refuse to have your data deleted due to inadmissible data processing and instead request the restriction of the processing of your data, if you need your data to assert, exercise or defend legal claims after we no longer need this data after we have achieved the purpose or if you have filed an objection for reasons of your particular situation, as long as it is not yet clear whether our legitimate reasons prevail;

The withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the withdrawal;
  • Right to lodge a complaint according to Art. 77 GDPR: If you believe that the processing of your personal data does not comply with the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State where you are at the time being, at your place of work or at the place where the alleged infringement occurred, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

7.2RIGHT OF OBJECTION

IF, WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF A CONSIDERATION OF INTERESTS, WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA ON THE BASIS OF OUR LEGITIMATE OVERRIDING INTEREST, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AT ANY TIME TO OBJECT TO THIS PROCESSING WITH EFFECT FOR THE FUTURE ON THE GROUNDS THAT ARISE FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION.

IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL STOP PROCESSING THE DATA CONCERNED. HOWEVER, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO FURTHER PROCESSING IF WE CAN PROVE COMPELLING REASONS WORTHY OF PROTECTION FOR PROCESSING WHICH OUTWEIGH YOUR INTERESTS, FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR IF THE PROCESSING SERVES TO ASSERT, EXERCISE OR DEFEND LEGAL CLAIMS.

IF WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH ADVERTISING. YOU MAY OBJECT AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.
